Straight single-end cartridge heater purpose-built for mold drilling. Stainless steel sheath, high-purity MgO packing and Ni-Cr resistance coil, with red high-temp silicone leads exiting from one end. Fast heat-up, uniform surface loading and tight fit in mold holes. Slip-in installation for injection molds, hot runners, hot plates, 3D printers and small equipment. OD / wattage / voltage / lead length fully customizable.
This mold cartridge heater is a single-ended tubular heating element engineered specifically for heating metal molds. The sheath is SUS304 / SUS321 / SUS316L stainless steel, with Incoloy 800 alloy available for high-temperature service. High-purity MgO powder insulates and conducts heat around a Ni-Cr resistance coil; after repeated swaging, the coil stays centered, the MgO stays dense and heat transfers rapidly to the wall — for fast heat-up, even surface temperature and long life.
The heater is closed at one end and leads out at the other, in a slim straight form that slides directly into a drilled mold hole. A clearance of 0.05–0.1 mm gives the best thermal contact. The lead wires are red high-temperature silicone braided wires (rated 200℃ standard; fiberglass wires rated 400–500℃ optional), terminated with M4/M5 metal nuts for easy wiring. A strain-relief spring, ceramic beads or stainless steel flexible conduit can be added to protect the leads from bending and heat damage.
Compared with general-purpose heaters, this mold cartridge heater offers high watt density (typically 6–10 W/cm², higher on special designs), fast response, a slim body and a compact footprint. Typical uses: injection molds, die-casting molds, hot runners, hot plates, heat-sealing machines, vacuum forming, 3D printer heater blocks, packaging machinery, lab equipment and any tooling needing localized precision heating.
Customization: tube OD (φ3–φ20 mm), heated length (20–1000 mm), cold-length, voltage (12–440 V), wattage (30 W–3000 W), lead length and temp rating, lead style (bare / screw / tab), mounting (stop collar / thread / flange), and optional integrated thermocouple or RTD sensor.
